Polystyrene (PS)

Polystyrene is a rigid and transparent plastic raw material made by the polymerization of styrene monomer. Polystyrene (PS) is one of the most often encountered plastics in our daily lives. Because it’s a thermoplastic polymer, it can be processed and molded by heating and cooling. It is prefered because of it transparency, good processability, fluidity, food compatibility, and the many other features. Anti-shock (HIPS – High Impact) and Crystal (GPPS – General purpose polystyrene) types are available for trade.

Two Types of PS
  • Antişok (HIPS – High Impact)
  • Kristal (GPPS – General purposepolystyrene)
